Our Story: From Frustrating Tinkering to Effortless Making

In 2016, I bought my very first 3D printer. To put it lightly, it was a battle. Getting a single part to print correctly felt like a part-time job filled with endless calibration and frustration. In 2023, I upgraded to my next printer. While it was a massive leap forward, I still found myself spending more time tinkering with the 3D printer than actually printing.

Then came 2024, and everything changed when I was introduced to the Bambu Labs X1C Printer with AMS. For me, this machine completely redefined the 3D printing. Printing switched from constantly tinkering with the machine in hopes of getting 1 part to print properly, into getting near-flawless prints every time with little to no tinkering. My daily worry shifted from “Will this print actually finish?” to “What am I going to print next?”

The Spark That Started It All

Fascinated by how effortless printing had become, I purchased my own X1C during the black Friday sale. Additionally, since the Bambu Labs A1 mini was reasonably priced during that sale, I began sending one per year as gifts — first to family in Florida, then to a family in California, and another to a friend in Massachusetts.

None of these people had ever considered running a 3D printer. Yet, after they unboxed their machines, they were up and running almost immediately. They were amazed by how simple it was to make their first parts. They quickly started finding fun objects to print that they didn't even know they needed in their lives.

That was my lightbulb moment, and Mister E Crafts was born.
